"I’ve been trying to find the right words to describe what Stephanie meant to me during my pregnancy and birth experience. Honestly I don’t think words would ever describe what she meant for me and all she has done for me. Before I met Stephanie I was really wanting a home birth and was trying to come to terms with that might not happen for me. When we met, Stephanie and I bonded over our faith in Jesus Christ and she said everything my husband needed to hear without realizing that’s what she was doing. We didn’t even have to talk about it because we knew she was the care provider for us! Stephanie prayed with me during times I was more anxious and she quickly became much more than a midwife, she became my friend. Although I had some blood pressure issues and had to go to the hospital she never left my side. She did all the things and I mean literally helped me in every way imaginable! Even spoon fed me jello! She helped me have a dream birth even though nothing went according to plan she was there the entire time. Stephanie is an angel and my family and I will forever be so thankful to have her in our lives.
If you are looking for a midwife who will take care of you and your baby without question Stephanie is the midwife for you!

"Stephanie will hold a special place in our minds and family forever, providing safe + intentional care throughout our pregnancy with Lucy and up to the day of her birth. I have so much adoration for her knowledge and gentleness and willingness. Throughout my entire pregnancy when we would come together for appointments it always left me and my family feeling so secure and thankful for being under her care! She holds + weaves respect and relationship so beautifully together with professionalism."
I wanted to give a shout out to Stephanie and Murphie. They took care of me this pregnancy and helped deliver Lily in the comfort of my home.
They have been quick to answer every text and call throughout the pregnancy and postpartum. Stephanie was at my house within 15 minutes of me telling her that I needed her at almost 2am when I went into labor. When Murphie arrived, she applied counterpressure to my lower back, which was amazing during each contraction!
I was able to deliver Lily in a calm, stress-free environment. I never worried about our safety. It was honestly the most beautiful, wonderful birth I've ever had, and I know that I wouldn't have had the peace that I did if it wasn't for the midwives.
I will never have a hospital birth by choice after having the experience that I did with this one. I highly recommend these ladies!
"Our dream from the start was to have our little girl at home, but when the going got too rough these two amazing ladies saw all the signs our dream wouldn't make it to reality and got us out of what could've been a truly dreadful situation in the knick of time. All praise to Duncan Regional and their L&D staff for getting us through a last minute c-section and keeping me well for 2 nights but Stephanie and Murphie both stayed through the procedure, made sure our wishes were upheld to the utmost within reason, and leant their support when my husband and I may as well have been drowning, ultimately joining us in welcoming our daughter into the world as was the plan from the start. 100/10 would recommend Fruitful Oaks Midwifery in Duncan to any mommas/ moms to be wishing for an incomparable level of care and compassion, support and informed consent/ explanation of circumstances. The last 8 months we faced an umbilical cord irregularity, a baby in breech, a larger than expected baby, and ultimately an emergency c-section that we felt confident facing/ changing tactics/ taking precautions for and adapting too because of the wealth of knowledge from our midwife. When we were unreasonable she was the voice of reason and when we were scared these ladies were our confidence and got us through it all safe, healthy, and happier than I could've expected from any birthing experience, let alone one that so easily could've been considered traumatic. Sorry for the long winded shout out, but I had to thank you two loudly and proudly, you deserve the praise and I NEED more moms to hear about your practice as an option. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you both!"
"We had been praying & hoping for a home birth but our little one was too comfy & way too patient. We had a beautiful experience of laboring at home for 36 hours before needing to transfer to the hospital. The care we were given from our doula, midwife, & birth team was nothing short of remarkable. From prenatal care, delivery, & postpartum care they were right by our side. Our birth team stayed with us through the entire labor & delivery of our son. They never left our side. I am not sure how women and families go through pregnancy without the care of midwives & doulas. It is a special calling to be a doula and/or midwife & these women do it so beautifully. God perfectly orchestrated this birth team to be part of our birth story & we couldn’t have asked for better care.
As hard as it was leading up to Ollie’s patient arrival, I would do it all over again with this birth team. The time we had laboring at home was a complete dream come true. These women made our birth story a remarkable experience & I wouldn’t trade the care and experiences we shared with them for anything."
"The experience of birthing at home with the support of my amazing family, midwife, and doula was absolutely incredible! Trusting my body to do what it was made to do undisturbed by intervention or medication was the greatest decision we could've made. God's wonderful design amazes me! "
